|
|
Hello,
I just came up with these setup for the twister when you are in the Mount Position and your opponent tries a foot drag. Since I discovered it I use it very often while sparring.
When you understand the twister it is very easy to use this setup.
Picture 1 and 2
You are in Mount Position and your opponent is trying to escape by doing a foot drag (entageling your leg)
Picture 3
As soon as your opponent is doing it triangle his leg and turn a little bit sidewards but still keep pressure.
Picture 4 and 5Grab his other ankle and start rolling over your shoulder
Picture 6
When you have finished the roll you have the perfect position for a Twister. Grab his Arm as soon as you can because you are looking for his neck. Keep his legs triangled.
Picture 7
Switch the grip and bring your arm around his neck. YOu are very close to twist him. Keep his leg triangled.
Picture 8
You got him in the twister. Just squeeze a little bit (careful) and he he taps.
I hope you enjoy it. Try it while rolling and be careful.
Take care

You're right
but that wasn't my question ......
To say it clear:
@Björn: do you want to keep the english-board going?
Or was it just for fun to write this in english and not in german ?

This tech looks wicked I saw your post at mma.tv's BJJ Forum.
Can you explain the transition from Picture 5 to 6? I'm not sure how you become parallel to your opponent after the right shoulder roll. Thanks. |

Gotcha. It looks like it's important to keep his right hip on you, and not on the mat after the shoulder roll. That arm switch + neck hold ensures PAIN! Wicked bro!
I can see this working also when you transition from a full guard to half guard. Will drill this tonight. Thanks. |
